Accessibility

Last updated 7 November 2026

The site is built to meet the intent of WCAG 2.1 level AA. It is a small shop, not a large platform, but accessibility is treated as part of the build rather than an afterthought.

What has been done

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and a skip link on every page.
  • Keyboard access to every link, button and image thumbnail.
  • Colour combinations chosen for contrast, including the yellow-on-ink accent.
  • Alt text on product images, taken from the listing's own description of the image.
  • No autoplaying audio or video, and no motion that cannot be ignored.
  • Text resizes without a fixed-width layout breaking.
  • Analytics loaded only after consent, so declining leaves the page lighter.

Known limitations

  • Checkout is Etsy's. Payment and delivery happen on Etsy, and the shop cannot change Etsy's accessibility. If Etsy's checkout blocks you, contact the shop and a different route can be arranged.
  • Some product images contain text baked into the artwork (for example "instant download"). The alt text describes the design, but cannot reproduce every word in the image.
  • Product photography is supplied by the listings. If a listing's image is unclear, the description carries the same information in text.

Reporting a barrier

If something is hard to use, contact the shop with the page and what happened. Accessibility reports are treated as bugs, not complaints.

Still unsure? Message the shop on Etsy and you will get a reply from the person who makes the files. Contact the shop.
